Progress of AT&T’s LTE testing & new LTE devices spotted

We’ve got data from several different locations and several different devices showing the progress of AT&T’s testing of 4G networks The dataset is very small, but we can say that the network is looking fast so far:

Download speed (kbps) Upload speed (kbps) Latency (ms)
19,858 16,305 100

Among the data appears the as yet unreleased:

HTC Holiday (manufacturer id: HTC PH39100)
Specs: 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.5″, 1GB RAM, 8MP camera. Rumoured to be out in two months. More here.

We took a little bit more of a look round to see if we could spot other unreleased or rumoured LTE phones on networks other than AT&T.

The LG Revolution 2 (manufacturer id: VS920 4G)
Thinner than the Vigour and the iPhone 4, with LTE faster data too and a 4.5″ HD display to boot.More here.

Manufacturer id: XT894 – is this the Droid HD, Droid RAZR, Spyder?
No-one is sure, what it’s name will be, but we can tell you it’s coming!

Samsung Celox (manufacturer id: GT-I9210)
4.5″, a 1.5Ghz dual core Snapdragon processor. Nice, but release date unknown. More here.

Fujitsu Arrows Tab LTE (manufacturer id: F-01D)
Waterproof! Camera based gesture control. Cool. More here.

That’s all we can say for the moment, these phones exist, people are using them, and OpenSignalMaps is on them already!
