Canadian mobile subscribers who live in rural parts of the country benefit from having some of the fastest download speeds in the world. They also have access to 4G networks close to 90% of the time, which is a percentage more commonly seen by users residing in more populated areas. In addition, rural users in Canada on the networks of Telus, Bell Mobility and Rogers have download speeds that surpass those experienced by users in most countries.

Movies are just better in French: Quebec has the best Video Experience of the top 10 cities in Canada

The Canadian city where mobile video is at its best is none other than the eponymous capital of Quebec. In our analysis of Video Experience in Canada's 10 largest cities, Opensignal found Quebec City ranked highest with a score of 73.1 out of 100. But it wasn't the only high achiever in the Francophone province. Montreal came in third with a Video Experience score of 72.2, just behind Calgary.
